 About the Penn Valley Family
In 1957, Ken and Ruth Balmer purchased a small propane business to found Penn Valley Gas. They began with one delivery truck and a small route, which included several mobile home parks, some of which we continue to serve today. Building their business on the value of treating their customers the way they wanted to be treated, the Lord continued to bless them with growth and dedicated employees to meet their customers' needs. Having been raised in the business, and sensing the Lord's leading in their lives, their three sons, Dwane, Dale, and Dan all became involved with leading the business in the early 1990's. As their retail and commercial customer base grew, they expanded to provide wholesale propane sales and bulk transportation to their industry.
Together, with a team of dedicated employees, Penn Valley Gas has become a premier family owned and operated propane business providing comfort and convenience to over 8,000 customers in southeastern Pennsylvania. Our goal is to provide excellent, courteous service and to earn a reputation for being your trusted energy provider.
